Fundraising to Help Your School Bloom!

Having spent many years helping our school's PTA raise much needed funds, we understand not only how important it is but also how hard it is to raise money in these current times. Whether you want to raise money to fund your new school gardening project, or use your new garden to raise money for your school, here's some blooming good ideas to get you started.

Spring Plant Sale

Hold a plant sale in the school grounds and sell your seedlings. Also ask any local gardeners if they would donate any small plants for you to sell.

Garden Open Day

Showcase the school's gardening progress. Host a tour with guided talks on biodiversity and sustainable growing techniques.

Ground Force Day

Ask parents and grandparents to come and help get your garden off the ground. Ask them to bring any spare gardening tools with them, and donate any they don't need. Why not try and find a local sponsor to donate a small shed which can be put up during ground force day.

School Veg Boxes

If you have the space for a good sized vegetable patch, why not grow a variety of veg to sell in boxes.

P.Y.O. Flower Event

Host a pick-your-own flower event where parents and friends of the school can pay to come and pick a bunch of your very own grown flowers.
